After yesterday’s Aline MacMahon post, I got to thinking about how many Golden Age film stars rose out of Brooklyn. While Lilyan Tashman didn’t begin appearing on the pages of the Brooklyn Daily Eagle at as youthful an age as MacMahon had, I did find the following early feature about the then 25-year-old actress on page 8C of the April 9, 1922 edition:

The article mentions Tashman having appeared “in a half-dozen films” at the time of the article, though the IMDb credits her only with Experience to this date.
