This is the first of three 50 card sets issued annually 1947-49 by Carreras on packages of Turf Cigarettes.
The gallery below, picturing the entire set, shows the cards as they appeared before being cut off of the original cigarette packages. Obviously they are much rarer in this form and typically trimmed, sometimes not so neatly, but ideally to a size of 1-3/8" X 2-5/8".
These full flattened boxes measure approximately 2-5/16" X 5-1/8". From Great Britain.
