About 1935 Gallaher Stars of Screen & Stage Tobacco Cards
Another of the colorful and rather common mid-1930's tobacco sets from Gallaher out of England.
These are, as the title says, Stars of Screen & Stage, with a pretty heavy native British emphasis though a handful of major Hollywood Stars as well including Ginger Rogers, Gary Cooper and Laurel & Hardy.
Each card measures approximately 1-1/2" X 2-1/2".
48 card set.
Two versions of set. One with text on back in green, the other in brown. Brown is rarer. Fronts are identical.
