1934 John Sinclair Film Stars Tobacco Cards
54 card set of tobacco cards issued by John Sinclair, Ltd. in 1934.
Issued out of Great Britain.
Each card measures approximately 1-3/8" X 2-5/8".
Black and white real photo cards.
As noted on reverse "A Series of 54 Real Photos."
The later two series of 1937 John Sinclair Film Stars are very similar in appearance. While each of those two later series also contain 54 cards per set the number is not specifically stated on reverse. Text on back of the later cards reads simple "A Series of Real Photos" (Not "A Series of 54 ...").
This earlier set is a little harder to find than the later two series. Unlike the later series the 1934 set contains all individual shots (there are several actor and actress pairs in each of the later series).
The 1934 Sinclair Film Stars also includes the greatest collection of stars such as: Boris Karloff, Johnny Weissmuller, Mae West, Jean Harlow, Garbo, Gable, Dietrich and many others.
