About 1932 BAT Cinema Artistes Tobacco Cards
Not the prettiest set of cards out there, but the content of this set is really great!
Rare tobacco card appearances for Spanky and Stymie from Our Gang (plus Jacquie Lyn and Jackie Cooper), Johnny Weissmuller is here though not in a Tarzan pose. Two cards each, for some reason, for Greta Garbo and Norma Shearer, plus early images of big stars like Clark Gable and Jean Harlow. The classic comedians are represented by Buster Keaton, Charley Chase and even a Laurel and Hardy card. This set even recognizes some character and supporting actors like Wallace Ford, Lewis Stone, Jean Hersholt, and Karen Morley--the types of stars often overlooked by sets of this size!

Clean white back, black & white photo with brown or sepia toned front.
Issued out of Britain.
Each card measures approximately 1-3/8" X 2-5/8".
