About these Photos

These colorful premiums each measure 8-3/8″ x 10-7/8″ and are printed on magazine paper stock with blank (white) backs.

Both collections I have handled have contained the same 32 pictures. All are shown the Gallery following below.

Each was acquired with the original mailer including Jalert Sales Co. return address. One of the envelopes was postmarked 1955.

In the posted area of the 1955 envelope was the notation “Ask for Skye Publications at your newsstand.”

Back when I first offered a collection of these I was contacted by an interested collector, Eric Hemphill, who sent along an image of the cover of Screen Life magazine, January 1955.

As you can see in the small image inset below, Screen Life used the same Judy Garland image on their cover that was included with this photo pack.
