I’m very proud to be one of the writers contributing to The Pre-Code Companion, issue #1, just released this week.

Edited with introduction by Danny Reid of Pre-Code.com, this first issue of The Pre-Code Companion runs 89 pages and takes a look at the three classics found on the Forbidden Hollywood, Volume 1 DVD collection: Baby Face, Red-Headed Woman, and Waterloo Bridge, plus articles about a star from each of those features: Barbara Stanwyck, Jean Harlow, and Mae Clarke.

My piece covers Red-Headed Woman, and its an original, written especially for the launch of the Companion.

The Pre-Code Companion #1 is available for Kindle at Amazon.com for $2.99 — All profits are being donated to the ASPCA.

Thanks very much for checking it out!
