Here's a small set of 25 beautiful cards from Stephen Mitchell & Sons, issued 1939 these are "Stars of Screen & History." Each pose in this set is represented by a blazing color image of a movie star in costume from a popular 1930's historical film that they appeared in.
From Great Britain. Each card measures approximately 1-3/8" X 2-5/8". Colorful painted images, white borders with identifying text in top and bottom edges. Descriptive text on reverse, numbered 1 through 25.
