About the 1939 A and M Wix Film Favourites Tobacco Cards
Third series.
More common the first two series from 1937 and 1938 but not a common set compared to issues from other brands.
From England.
Each card measures approximately 1-7/16" x 2-5/8".
Each card features a screen pair. Most often a screen couple but with some exceptions such as Lionel Barrymore and Bobs Watson or Jackie Cooper and Freddie Bartholomew. Mostly Hollywood stars but with some native British screen pairs as well.
Text on reverse offers brief biographies of both stars pictured on front of card.
