35 card set issued out of Britain by R.J. Hill. Best British Manufacture backs on the Hill cards shown on this page.
Each card measures approximately 1-7/16" X 2-5/8"
After handling a few sets of these I've found that the surfaces are a bit temperamental. It's a glossy surface prone to crazing/cracking. An almost spiderweb type appearance as the thin glossy coat cracks like a windshield. Not completely apparent at first glance but revealing itself most definitely under light and a magnifying lens.
All actresses, and plenty of good ones with key cards in the small set including Jean Harlow and Mae West plus cards of major stars such as Joan Crawford, Myrna Loy, and Norma Shearer.
