Each card measures approximately 1-3/8" X 2-5/8 inches.
One of many British American Tobacco (B.A.T.) sets of the period.
Acquired from a New Zealand dealer. Perhaps that's where they were originally issued as well?
Many major Hollywood stars in this set including multiple cards of several stars. There are three Norma Shearer cards in the set and two each of Anita Page, Clark Gable, Dorothy Jordan, Greta Garbo, Jackie Cooper, Jean Harlow, Joan Crawford, John Barrymore, Karen Morley, Leila Hyams, Madge Evans, Marjorie King, Mary Carlisle, Ramon Novarro and Robert Young.
The key cards in the set are the Laurel and Hardy and the Buster Keaton. Only one each on those. See complete text checklist below the gallery.
