75 card set of tobacco cards issued by W.D. & H.O. Wills Ltd. in 1928.
Issued out of Great Britain.
Each card measures 1-7/16" x 2-7/16".
Muted colors, still attractive cards.
A nice large set with a mix of silent and talkie stars as the movies make the transition. Stars like Viola Dana, Mae Murray and Blanche Sweet share the set with up and comers such as Norma Shearer and Joan Crawford. Other legends include Lon Chaney, Buster Keaton and Tom Mix.
