In the late 1920's Kashin Publications issued 4 boxed sets of Motion Picture Star trading cards. The large 5" X 7" cards featured on this page feature mostly the same film stars in exactly the same poses--just larger cards.
While I can't confirm that they were issued by Kashin, I can certainly confirm that they licensed their images from the same source! Kashin did publish their baseball set in these two sizes, adding to the likelihood of their having printed these 5x7 movie stars.
